Cefroxadine

Dosing

Bronchitis, Laryngopharyngitis, Tonsillitis, Cystitis, Pyelonephritis, Sty, Blepharitis, Conjunctivitis, Otitis media 250 mg PO 3 times daily

Severe infection or low sensitivity to isolates in pyelonephritis and cystitis 500 mg PO once daily

Furuncle, Carbuncle, Folliculitis, Cellulitis 250 mg PO twice daily after meals

Adnexitis, Intrauterine infection, Bartholinitis 250-500 mg PO 3 times daily after meals

Severe renal impairment Use with caution

  • Loss of appetite

  • Hemolytic anemia

  • Increased liver enzymes
