Cefazolin can be safely administered to patients with penicillin allergy, including anaphylaxis.
Do NOT administer if severe delayed reaction to any beta-lactam (e.g. drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis).
