With MRSA risk factors ONLY:

  • Penetrating trauma
  • Evidence of MRSA infection elsewhere
  • Nasal swab MRSA +
  • IVDU
  • SIRS

Duration of Therapy

5-10 days

Switch to Doxycycline + β-lactam once patient is clinically stable to finish the duration of therapy (do NOT restart 10 days of therapy)
