C. difficile Care Bundle

Discontinuing all antimicrobials whenever possible is paramount to adequately treating C. difficile infection
- Please consider an Infectious Disease consultation for help with this decision
When feasible, proton pump inhibitors should be discontinued or converted to another class of acid suppressive therapy
Educate the patient on causes and prevention of C. difficile infection
