Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Streptococcus anginosus group, Enterococcus spp., other Viridans group Streptococci, Bacteroides spp and other anaerobes.
Consult Interventional Radiology or General Surgery for drainage. Send specimens for Gram stain and culture.
Peripheral blood cultures x 2 sets.
Infectious Disease consultation is strongly recommended.
