General Information

  • H.pylori treatment (in combination)

  • Acne prevention

  • GI upset and erosive esophagitis

  • Photosensitivity rash

  • Teeth staining

  • Azotemia (increased in patients with renal failure)

  • Divalent cations- decreased absorption

  • Increased digoxin levels

  • Increase INR with warfarin

Doxycycline is typically preferred.
