Laboratory:

  • CMP and CBC

Drug levels (on ≥ day 3 of therapy): 

  • Peak < 100 mcg/mL (to assess for toxicity)
  • Trough 20-40 mcg/mL
  • Bone marrow suppression (dose-related)
  • GI disturbances
  • Hepatotoxicity (dose-related)

Avoid monotherapy use due to concern for development of resistance.
