Periodic CBC and renal and hepatic function tests

• Allergy/rash (immediate or delayed)

• Seizures

• Cytopenias

• Eosinophilia

• Interstitial nephritis

• Abnormal liver enzymes

• Serum sickness

• May increase serum methotrexate levels

• May DECREASE INR in patients receiving warfarin

Can cause phlebitis if given peripherally, central line preferred.
