  • Oral/dental infections
  • Aspiration pneumonia
  • Empyema
  • Intra-abdominal abscess
  • Diabetic foot infection
  • Bacteremia
  • Head and neck infection including Lemierres disease (septic jugular thrombophlebitis) associated with F. necrophorum

Bacteremia with F. necrophorum should prompt thorough investigation for septic thrombophlebitis (Lemierres).
