Oral Challenge

Test Dose

Amoxicillin
​
  • Child: Amoxicillin 15 - 30mg/kg orally (max dose for challenge of 500mg)
    • Can use oral chewable amoxicillin of 125mg/tablet or 250mg/tablet to reduce cost to family/clinic
  • Adult: 500mg tablet po x 1 dose

Observe for 30-60 mins
