Recommendations

Consider in high-risk patients who have come in contact with a confirmed influenza case

Start within 48 hours of exposure to the source and continue for 7 days after the last exposure

Adults

Oseltamivir 75mg PO daily x 7 days after last exposure.

If severely immunocompromised or living in SNF, seek ID input on duration.

Pediatrics

Oseltamivir (click for dosing recommendations) for 7 days after last exposure.
