Capsules should be taken with a full glass of water within 30 minutes after eating a full  meal of moderate or high fat (ideally about 600 calories and 25 grams of fat) in order to improve  bioavailability.

CDC holds an EA-IND to allow access to and use of TPOXX for treatment of non-variola orthopoxvirus infections in adults and children.
