Systemic Signs of Infection:
Mild: Local signs of infection only
Moderate: Cellulitis with some systemic signs of infection
Severe: Systemic signs of infection with deeper tissue involvement OR patients who are immunocompromised
Severe with Septic Shock: Septic shock and/or rapidly progressing/necrotizing skin & soft tissue infection
