General Information

  • Treatment of infections due to beta-hemolytic streptococcus (Streptococci group A/B/C/G) such as skin infections, pharyngitis

  • Community acquired pneumonia

  • Acute exacerbation of COPD

  • Bacterial sinusitis

  • Dental infections or prophylaxis prior to dental procedures when indicated

  • Enterococcus faecalis infections

  • Allergy/rash (immediate or delayed), especially in setting of mononucleosis infection

  • Cytopenias

Allopurinol - increased rash

Antimicrobial class: Aminopenicillin
