A “one-size-fits-all” treatment duration for gram-negative bloodstream infections (BSI) does not fit our high standards of antimicrobial therapy in the era of precision medicine.

These customized treatment durations are derived from a recent clinical trial results and re-analysis of our local data after stratification based on clinical response to antimicrobial therapy within the first 4 days of BSI.
