Pseudomonas aeruginosa Prediction Score


This score predicts the probability of Pseudomonas aeruginosa bloodstream isolates in patients with suspected or confirmed gram-negative bloodstream infections (BSI)

It may be utilized in hospitalized patients with complicated urinary tract or intra-abdominal infections

Select All Applicable Risk Factors

Severely immune compromised hosts include those with neutropenia, recent chemotherapy, high dose steroids, etc.

Beta-lactam antibiotics include:

  • Penicillins

  • Cephalosporins

  • Carbapenems

  • Monobactams

  • Beta-lactam/beta-lactamase inhibitors
