Daily Dose: 15 mg/kg/day
Maximum Daily Dose: 1000 mg/day
Dosing Frequency: PO divided BID
Substrate of CYP3A4.
Multiple CYP450 interactions possible - consult a pharmacist for more detail.
May increase digoxin, carbamazepine level.
Use caution with QTc prolonging medications.
Treatment of proven or suspected pertussis, Chlamydophila pneumoniae, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae
